DESIGN AND FABRICATION OF PNEUMATIC BEARING PULLER, PRESS, SHEET BEND AND REMOVER

SYNOPSIS

 
A “pneumatic operated bearing puller & press, sheet bend and remover” is a device which enables to operate it alone and removes the bearing from puller without puller setup from supporting device. So special skill is needed to operate or remove from. It can widely used. It is easy to fit on the bearing and removing and refitting. It is need not necessary of work place for setting the puller. This can be effectively used for removing. In this we are change the tool of sheet bend and removing tool for the purpose of sheet bending and removing operation in the same machine.

WORKING PRINCIPLE

In this project we are using the pneumatic as pressing equipment; this will be useful in many applications. Like bending the metal sheets, bearing fixing and removing etc… 
The compressed air from the compressor is used as the force medium for this operation. There are pneumatic double acting cylinders solenoid valves, flow control valve and the timer unit is used. The arm from the compressor enters to the flow control valve. The controlled air from the flow control valve enters to the solenoid valve. The function of solenoid valves all of air correct time interval. The 5/2 solenoid valve is used. In one position air enters to the cylinder and pushes the piston so that the operation stroke is obtained. The next position air enters to the other side of cylinder and pusses the piston return back, so that the releasing stroke is obtained. The speed of the operation and releasing stroke is varied by the timer control unit circuit.

ADVANTAGES

  1. The pneumatic is more efficient in the technical field.
  2. Quick response is achieved
  3. Simple in construction
  4. Easy maintenance and repair
  5. Cost of unit is very less
  6. No fire hazard problem due to overloading
  7. Continuous operation is possible without stopping
DISADVANTAGES
  • High torque can not be obtained
  • Load carrying capacity is low
APPLICATIONS
  1. This machine is very useful for small scale industries
  2. These machines used to removing and refitting the bearing from the shaft, and sheet bend and remove.
  3. All industrial application
