AUTOMATIC INTELLIGENT HYDRO IRRIGATION SYSTEM – MECHANICAL PROJECT

AUTOMATIC INTELLIGENT HYDRO IRRIGATION SYSTEM – MECHANICAL PROJECT

AIM:

The ultimate aim of our project is to provide water to the particular land or field automatically at a particular time

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Agriculture is one of the most important aspects in our life. It is the only field, which maintains human life to survive in earth. Without food no one can able to live and we all get that through this. In this scientific world we can able to automate each and every process in order to reduce the manual workload and also the time consumption.

It will be more useful if we introduce automation in this agricultural field. Here we are going to reduce the manual work due to irrigation through embedded systems.

In this project we make use of micro controller for controlling the whole process. A small keyboard is used to set the time duration for opening a particular valve circuit. It consist of keys such as enter key, increment key and decrement key .By using these keys we set the time for opening the valve through micro controller. The setting time is displayed on the LCD display unit.

The three valve opening circuit (valve 1,2 and3) is connected to the micro controller. If a valve 1 circuit is maintained in ON time means the other two valve circuits are maintained in delay time. If the specified time duration for first valve is over, then the opening control goes to valve 2-circuit for making it open up to desired time duration. At that time the other two valve opening circuits are maintained in delay time. If the specified time duration for second valve is over then the opening control goes to valve 3 circuits to open it up to its specified time duration.
