FABRICATION OF STEAM POWER PLANT-Mechanical Project
The objective of this project is to generate the electric power through fabrication of steam power plant. Now day’s power demand is increased so this project is used to generate the electric power in order to compensate the electric power demand. This Project is designed with turbine arrangement, Dynamo, heater and Battery.
This type of project is used in water storage areas. When the high pressure of steam flows through the turbine it will rotate. The rotating speed depends upon the pressure of stem flow. To monitor the pressure of stem inside the tank we are using a pressure gauge it shows the steam pressure inside the tank. Heater is used to convert the water inside the tank in to steam as this is only a demonstration model of steam power plant. Dynamo is coupled with turbine it is a permanent magnate with a coil arrangement whenever the turbine is rotating the moving coil in the dynamo also rotates due to that voltage is generated. The produced voltage can be stored in the Battery. A CFL is made to glow from the dynamo here for the demonstration. This stored voltage can be used for different applications. Through this way electric power is generated and electric demand can be compensated.
