DESIGN AND FABRICATION ACCIDENT AVOIDING HYDRAULIC JACK

ABSTRACT
Transportation has now been increased in a wide manner. In olden days wooden wheels are used in wheels. But nowadays disc wheels are used. The wheels are covered with tyres. The tyres are made by the rubber material. The rubber is the soft material. So that the tyres are met punchers at the high rate due to the road conditions.
Our Indian road conditions are not comfort to ride the vehicles. In order to change the tyres, the drivers are met so many problems. Because they have to lift the vehicle by using the manual jacks. In manual jack, they have to rotate the lever by applying their own manual power. It’s very difficult to operate.
Apart from this manual jack, now in automobiles hydraulic jack, pneumatic jack, etc. But now we had implementing a new concept in hydraulic jack through project. In our project, the power jack operating through hydraulic system comprises of following components like pump, cylinder, handle, ram, with self locking nut.
Working
This machine has a hydraulic cylinder and piston assembly. Which works in a port type integrated hydraulic circuit. I this circuit there is no need for separate oil pump hydraulic houses, D.C valves, Pumps etc. These all those things are integrated with the hydraulic cylinder itself.
Accident avoiding System
We all are known that hydraulic pump and cylinder has oil rings and O-rings for operating the hydraulic circuit. But due to over loading OR fatigue leads to cut off O-rings and oil seals. So un Predictable Accident can be occur  due to this .so we will provide the bolt and nut principle in this hydraulic for accident avoiding which is explained in drawing. After lifting the jack we will down the nut up to cylinder head .if any O-ring or oil leakage occurs the nut will provide the piston to go down.

Advantage

1) Easy to lift the vehicle
2) Now need to afraid about system failure
Disadvantage
1) This system is costlier than conventional jack
2) Periodic maintenance is needed
